Submission Guidelines

Submissions are accepted from members of the Red Wheelbarrow Poets Workshop (drop-ins welcome) and from anyone who reads as a featured poet or during open mic at the Second Wednesday evenings held monthly at the Williams Center in Rutherford.

If you wish to submit a poem for consideration, email your work to redwheelbarrowpoets@yahoo.com as a WORD attachment. (Do not paste text in the body of the email, do not send a pdf.)

On the subject line, put the title of your poem and your name. (If the title is very long, use enough words for us to identify it easily.)

Use Times New Roman 12 font.

These guidelines will be updated periodically. At this time, special formatting—including indented, italicized, and bold text—should not be used (or, if essential, used sparingly).

No images /photos are being used at this time, but we hope to add this feature soon.

If your poem has been published or will be published in the near future (or if you have a book coming out or recently released), please type this information at the end of the Word document with your poem.

We would appreciate receiving a short bio in a separate email as a Word document. On the subject line put BIO followed by your name.
